Founded:
\n<\/strong>In 1993, by the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (now the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) and G.M.\u00a0Dobrov Center for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History Studies (now the State Institution \u201cG.M.\u00a0Dobrov Institute for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History Studies\u201d of the NAS of Ukraine (G.M.\u00a0Dobrov STEPS Center of the NAS of Ukraine).<\/p>\n

The journal continues the traditions of the collection\u00a0\u201cScience of Science and Informatics\u201d\u00a0<\/b>(ISSN 0374-3896) that started to be issued<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>in 1969<\/span>\u00a0by the initiative of Gennadiy Mikhaylovich Dobrov,\u00a0the founder of science studies in Ukraine and the first director of the STEPS Center of the NAS of Ukraine, named in his honor since 1991.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The journal\u2019s main objective: <\/strong>regular studies of experiences, tendencies and prospects of R&D development in Ukraine and beyond. A wide range of issues discussed on the journal\u2019s pages covers: science & technology and innovation policy, performance and tendencies of science and technology potential, R&D infrastructure, problems of international science and technology cooperation, scientometrics, webometrics, history of science and academic schools, etc. The journal \u201cScience and Science of Science\u201d provides a forum for discussing problems of reforms, development and operation of the R&D system in Ukraine.<\/p>\n
