\nAbstract<\/strong>: Distinctive qualities of S.I. Pekar, an outstanding Ukrainian theoretical physicist, as a scientist, a human and a teacher are shown, i. e. as a scientific leaders who laid the foundation for creating a large and powerful theoretical school in physics of solid body in Kyiv in 50\u201460s of the past century. The contribution of S.I. Pekar in his school is physics is highlighted. The personal composition of his school is given.<\/p>\n
