THE INCREASING SIGNIFICANCE OF THE WEB RESOURCE OF THE PUBLISHING HOUSE “AKADEMPERIODYKA” OF THE NAS OF UKRAINE

Abstract: The issues related to the coverage of the scientific and publishing activities of the NAS of Ukraine in the information space were considered, in particular, because of the growing importance of the web resource of the Publishing House “Akademperiodyka” of the NAS of Ukraine in the formation of the segment of the Academy’s publishing products and the popularization of the scientific results of individual domestic scientists. Some changes and advantages of the new open site content management system, which the Publishing House switched to in 2022 to increase the level of information security and stability of the web resource, as well as the suitability for viewing the site’s content on various devices, smartphones in particular, are analyzed. The article provides statistical information on visits to the web resource of the Academic Periodicals Publishing House for the period from October 2022 to September 2023. It is noted that the structure of visits by category of information is changing: if earlier users prioritized methodological materials, now the demand for full-text fi les of scientific and popular science books and articles is growing.
