Abstract: The article is devoted to the celebration in Ukraine of the 110th anniversary of the birth of Serhiy Pavlovych Koroliov, one of the most distinguished scientists in space rocket building. It is shown that the anniversary events were attended by state power officials, space researchers, national scientific community, foreign guests and members of S.P. Koroliov’s family. The commemorative events began in the homeland of this scientist and designers in the city of Zhytomyr and continued in the city of Kyiv, where evens and meetings with honored guests were held in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv Sikorskyi Politechnic Institute, the secondary school No 36 bearing the name of S.P. Koroliov’s, etc.
