Abstract: Article reveals the results of studying the publications on different aspects of book science and librarianship. To provide the complex study we choose the publications that was provided with the participation of NAS of Ukraine workers during 2004—2019. The database of book publications of NAS of Ukraine annotated catalog formed the basement of research. It is maintained by the group of scientific and methodical provision of NAS of Ukraine publishing activity according to the decision of Scientific and Publishing council of NAS of Ukraine. Most of the publications were checked de viso and only a few of them was described by the information from the NAS of Ukraine institutions and electronic open-access data. There are two institutions that have a highest impact on a publication activity of this theme: V.I. Vernadskiy National library of Ukraine and V. Stefanyk Lviv National Scientific library of Ukraine. Together they have created 78 % of all the publications. The entire studied asset was classified by type (scientific monographs, thematic collections of scientific publications, studying literature, scientific and popular one and reference literature) and the research object (the institutions or personalities legacy, libraries and their functioning principles, book, periodic and worksheets, libraries archives research, applied aspects of publishing, electronic communication). The most part of them are reference books (49 %) and the researches on personalities and institutions legacy (almost 24 %). There is no correlation between the time of different publications producing and publication titles quantity. The only branch where this correlation exists is the publications that are devoted to the modern informational and communicational technologies usage development in the librarianship and publication activity. However, there is a clear trend of edition quantities reduction.
