Abstract: The presentation of the Regional Space Innovation Cluster “Polissia” took place on January 12, 2020 in Zhytomyr, as part of the celebrations devoted to the 113th anniversary of academician S. P. Koroliov and the Year of the Koroliov Museum of Cosmonautics, announced by the Chytomyr Regional Council, with the Partnership Memorandum signed by 12 organizations. This chronicle describes the background of the cluster creation, the cluster objectives, international cooperation prospects. Peculiarities of the cluster’s positioning, its main objectives and areas of partnership on the basis of effective forms of organizational interactions between entities engaged in research, education, business, local self-governance and culture, uses of space technologies and popularization of space science are highlighted.
